” The recent exhibition by the “Vecchioni” Choir at St. Petronio-S Elite, has been the second time I had the pleasure to see them performing. The sensation is always the same> great and unique! When you hear them singing with such an emotional intensity, makes you forget where you are and takes you back to the first time> at the original exhibitions. The members of the choir have grown up ever since but the melody remained the same, with the same message of love, innocence and joy. The music, amiable and melodious, rhythmical and moderately slow, gradually penetrates your inner self and makes you feel like a child all over again. The “Zecchino d-oro”has been popular since its very beginning and there is no one in Italy who doesn-t know it-s melody. This kind of music is analgesic and therapeutic. I often used it to soathing the disturb hearts and minds of my patients in a rehabilitation center for drug addicts in New York area. Congratulation to all the performers. If you want to stay young keep singing and spreading love and joy. Remember what St. Augustine used to say> “He who sings prays twice”. See you soon. Fr. Paul.
